Who we are

This website, asitis.digital, is operated by As It Is Performance, Unipessoal Lda ("AS IT IS Digital", "we"), a company registered in Portugal under NIPC 518123936, with registered office at Rua João de Barros, n.º 90 C, 6 Dt, 4150-413 Porto, Portugal. We are the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at privacy@asitis.pt.

What we collect and why

Contact form. When you send us a message we receive your name, email address, store URL, message, and phone number if you choose to add it. We use this to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to prepare that work. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Email. If you email us directly, we process whatever you include in your message, for the same purposes and on the same legal bases as above.

Analytics. With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and how you found us. This only runs if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. We also use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and collects only anonymous, aggregated statistics; it cannot identify you.

Technical logs. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses in server logs to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who processes data for us

We use a small number of service providers: Vercel (website hosting and cookieless analytics), Web3Forms (contact form delivery), Google (analytics, only with your consent), and our email provider. Some of these providers are based in the United States; where data leaves the EU, it is protected by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Contact messages: up to 24 months after our last exchange, longer only if we start working together (then for the duration of the relationship plus legal retention periods). Analytics data: 14 months, the shortest retention Google Analytics offers. Server logs: as set by our hosting provider, typically days to weeks.

We do not sell personal data, use it for automated decision-making, or send marketing emails without asking first.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Just email privacy@asitis.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, www.cnpd.pt), or the authority in your country.
